Wild Horse Window GPX Track

I need to offset my substantial website costs somehow! You can download a hike/drive GPX to assist you here. Before sharing my GPX tracks with others, please remember my site is otherwise a free resource.

The Wildhorse Window coordinates of the arch itself are at: 38.653400, -110.676000.

As you can see in pictures, we rappelled through the Wildhorse Window, but the hike stats I include don't include the beautiful rappel, nor do you need to rappel to enjoy the beauty of the arch.

Also known as Skylight Arch, Wild Horse Window is a gorgeous arch whose alcove you can see from the trailhead, a mile away. From the trailhead coordinates provided, continue on the dirt road for about 0.2 mile until the road ends. Google Maps didn't have the dirt road tracked at the time of me writing this.

Hiking out to Wild Horse Window requires following a social trail with cairns. However, this hike  ultimately ended up being a bit longer of an excursion because we decided to rappel through the window and had to return for gear. A Class 3 set of moves led us out of the Wild Horse Window watercourse and up to the opening. This Class 3 is only necessary if you want to get to the top of the window, and there might be eaier ways to get up there.
