Welch-Dickey Loop GPX Track

I need to offset my substantial website costs somehow! You can download a hike/drive GPX to assist you here. Before sharing my GPX tracks with others, please remember my site is otherwise a free resource.

Welch Mountain and Dickey Mountain are two minor unranked peaks, but the trail that loops around and links the two of them is interesting and very pretty. I followed the Welch Mountain Trail up through pleasant forest and some fun scrambling through cracks in big boulders. Steeper slabs on gorgeous slickrock led to the summit of Welch Mountain. I headed north from the summit to Dickey Mountain, where there were some more short section sof scrambling. More slabs initially led down Dickey Mountain Trail before entering the forest and leading back to the trailhead.
