This report is from before I put more time into writing and taking route photos, so it may not be very helpful. I'm keeping it up for the memories, and will one day hopefully return to better document. Find other reports in this region.

Sep 27, 2015 — The Thornton Lakes Trail leads through forest for its majority, with glimpses of the surrounding Cascades. About a half mile before reaching the southern Thornton Lake, a trail leads north along the ridge in order to get to Trappers Peak. This is a gorgeous trail with some light Class 3 sections and incredible views
