San Francisco Hot Spring GPX Track

I need to offset my substantial website costs somehow! You can download a hike/drive GPX to assist you here. Before sharing my GPX tracks with others, please remember my site is otherwise a free resource.

After being cold from a snowy hike up Holt Mountain, San Francisco Hot Spring sounded like a great addition to the day. Starting from the easily-accessed trailhead, I followed a fairly popular trail through typical New Mexico rolling hills. The hike is pretty flat until the last hald mile descent to the San Francisco River. I continued along the southeast bank of the river through pretty riparian foliage until the trail pretty much ended. You should see footprints leading through the mud. I headed into the river and waded to the hot springs on the west bank. Be cautious if the water is flowing strong.
