Pinto Wye Arrastra GPX Track

I need to offset my substantial website costs somehow! You can download a hike/drive GPX to assist you here. Before sharing my GPX tracks with others, please remember my site is otherwise a free resource.

An arrastra is an oldschool mill used in mining operations. The Pinto Wye Arrrastra is a cool historic feature within Joshua Tree National Park, requiring only a short walk on a faint social trail through the backcountry. Starting in a wash, the route led us up toward an area with scattered mining debris and we brushed past a small dwelling with some mining artifacts in it. Past here we continued north, which led us to the historic Pinto Wye Arrastra, used for grinding whatever the miner was up to out here. We returned the way we came.
