Pigeon Roost Loop GPX Track

I need to offset my substantial website costs somehow! You can download a hike/drive GPX to assist you here. Before sharing my GPX tracks with others, please remember my site is otherwise a free resource.

Maybe in winter the views would be nicer, but there was really only one spot where you can access Beaver Lake, with some mini detours to campgrounds where you can get to the water. Otherwise, this is just kind of a walk in the woods within Hobbs State Park, with maybe a couple of stream crossings. Note that the signage made it seem like I should have come clockwise, but I went counterclockwise ("trailhead" mileage listed on signs didn't also point the way I was going, Because it assumed you had just come from that way).

Hire/refer me as a web developer or send me a few bucks if you find my site useful. I'm not sponsored, so all fees are out-of-pocket and my time preparing trip reports is unpaid. I really appreciate it!

Weird trailhead signage. It assumes I came form behind me, and doesn't mention that the trailhead is also accessible by going the way I was going.

Toward the end of the loop, you get some pretty sections where the trail follows a creek bed.
