Noah’s Ark Trail GPX Track

I need to offset my substantial website costs somehow! You can download a hike/drive GPX to assist you here. Before sharing my GPX tracks with others, please remember my site is otherwise a free resource.

Noah's Ark is just a named lookout spot, though at the time of this hike I didn't realize the peak above the lookout is also named Noah's Ark. There is no trail to that peak though, so I just did this hike to the end of the trail like everyone else before heading back the way I came. The hike starts through typical Utah forest and has some light views toward sandstone rock outcrops on the currounding hills. Not too much happens along the trail until the lookout, which has a great view of the surrounding Dixie National Forest hills and red rock formations amongst coniferous forest.

The road was washed out just before the trailhead on my visit. Noah's Ark is behind the trees in the center.

Somewhat steep grade for an official trail, but it switchbacks enough to keep the hike pleasant.
