Gobblers Knob and Mount Raymond via Alexander Basin GPX Track

I need to offset my substantial website costs somehow! You can download a hike/drive GPX to assist you here. Before sharing my GPX tracks with others, please remember my site is otherwise a free resource.

Start by heading up the Alexander Basin Trail, where there are some steep sections that probably could use some switchbacks. The trail leads to Gobbler's Knob, which overlooks of the hilly and colorful range with 360 degree views. You can also see the taller peaks of Cottonwood Ridge to the south as you head over from Gobbler's Lob to Mt. Raymond. There is a steep trail, followed by an easy Class 2 scramble to the summit of Mt. Raymond. Once summitting, head back down to the saddle of Mt. Raymond and Gobbler's Knob and take the Baker Spring Trail back to complete the loop.

Heading up to Gobbler's Knob. Mostly just lots of trees and a fairly steep trail until this section, where the views open up.
