Massacre Falls GPX Track

I need to offset my substantial website costs somehow! You can download a hike/drive GPX to assist you here. Before sharing my GPX tracks with others, please remember my site is otherwise a free resource.

Despite the aggresive name, this mild hike through fairly open Superstition Wilderness leads to a waterfall on a well-groomed trail. The pleasant walk takes you through the Superstition foothills, near cool rock outcroppings, and at the right time of year, there are gorgeous wildflowers. Unfortunately on my visit there was only a trickle coming down from Massacre Falls, but it was a scenic desert walk and the cliff housing Massacre Falls is cool enough even without the water. A social trail leads from the viewpoint toward the falls, down through a rocky wash and to the falls' base.
