Lower Hackberry Canyon GPX Track

I need to offset my substantial website costs somehow! You can download a hike/drive GPX to assist you here. Before sharing my GPX tracks with others, please remember my site is otherwise a free resource.

Lower Hackberry Canyon is an easy, pretty walk that's accessed from Cottonwood Canyon Road. The hike begins by heading along a sandy/wet canyon bed. The seasons and weather will dictate how much water will be in the canyon, but expect ankle-deep sections. As we entered the mouth of Lower Hackberry Canyon we were happy to find there was at least enough water to bring in lots of pretty flowing water noises. While the canyon never gets super narrow, the canyon walls are impressively tall and gorgeous. We turned around once the narrows ended and some brush prevented us from continuing unimpeded, but it seemed there were no more narrows to visit unil quite a few miles up the canyon.
