Klamath River Overlook via Coastal Trail GPX Track

I need to offset my substantial website costs somehow! You can download a hike/drive GPX to assist you here. Before sharing my GPX tracks with others, please remember my site is otherwise a free resource.

Starting from the Lagoon Creek Picnic Ground, head along the Yurok Loop Trail, a short loop that you can complete on the way back, and onto the Coastal Trail. A short side trip leads to Hidden Beach, and is totally worth it. Continue along the Coastal Trail and get great views of the Pacific Ocean as you slowly gain elevation and reach a trail junction just below the Klamath River Overlook Picnic Area. Follow the trail down to a really nice overlook of the Klamath River before heading back.

Pretty much immediately I knew this was going to be gorgeous.

A junction that later forms the Yurok Loop. Both routes beckon with their tunnel-like formations.

The trail sort of leaves a viewable coast for a while, but the forest is still really pretty.
