Keyhole Canyon GPX Track

I need to offset my substantial website costs somehow! You can download a hike/drive GPX to assist you here. Before sharing my GPX tracks with others, please remember my site is otherwise a free resource.

This is a technical canyon. If you are unfamiliar with how to build anchors or the gear required for canyoneering do not attempt this route.

Keyhole Canyon is a fun, short, introductory canyon with some nice rappels and short sections of water. An easy hike along pretty slickrock led from Zion – Mount Carmel Highway north to the head of Keyhole Canyon. We entered the slot and enjoyed a few nontechnical obstacles in the first section before the canyon openeed up for a short time. Once it narrowed again, the rappelling began. A few short rappels and other minor obstacles led to the end of Keyhole Canyon's technical section. It opened up again into a series of nontechnical potholes and a wash. This led back to the road, which we headed back east on to reach the car.
