The trail follows a dirt road for the first mile before entering the canyon.

The trail is easy to follow, and crosses Kanarra Creek many times before you start to realize it is easier to just stay in the creek rather than follow the trails.

Entering the first narrows.

Approaching the super-photogenic Kanarraville Falls, ladder included.

Looking back toward the top of the first falls, after climbing the ladder.

More narrows leading to the second falls.

Second falls up ahead. There is a less well-kempt ladder here, and after the second falls I only saw one group of people.

At the top of the second falls.

The slot canyon continues a bit longer after the second falls.

The slot ends, and opens up into a lush canyon with red rock sticking up on the banks.

The walls begin to rise unexpectedly.

Wow.

Looking back down-canyon as the walls begin to mellow out.

Shorter red rock walls, but more confined canyon space toward the end.

Approaching the end of the scenic section.

I turned around about here. It looks like the rest mellows out. Looking at a satellite map, this is the last bit of red rock.
