The Cape Cod National Seashore encompasses a large stretch of protected coastline, including beaches, dunes, marshes, ponds, and forested areas. The Great Island Trail to Jeremy Point is a popular trail within the protected area. This is a nice hike that combines forest, salt marshes, and sandy beaches. There are lovely views of Cape Cod Bay and Wellfleet Harbor. At high tide, parts of the trail can be submerged, especially near the sandbar that leads to Jeremy Point, so it's a good idea to check a tide chart before hiking. While there's plenty of hiking through sand, the elevation gain on this outing is minimal. Jeremy Point is a remote sandbar that extends into Cape Cod Bay.
