Eva’s House via Sneeds Creek Trail GPX Track

I need to offset my substantial website costs somehow! You can download a hike/drive GPX to assist you here. Before sharing my GPX tracks with others, please remember my site is otherwise a free resource.

Sneeds Creek starts off as a hike down some switchbacks on an old road bed, but soon turns into a lush and pretty creekside trail, following Sneeds Creek until you reach the historic Eva's House.

A note in hindsight: I've actually done Sneeds Creek and Hemmed-In Hollow as separate hikes, but on a map, they look like they would be a really great combination when done as a loop, though it would require following the Buffalo River off-trail for a bit.

You could also make this hike a bit longer and follow the trail over to the Goat Trail leading to Big Bluff in order to avoid the boring Centerpoint Trail and the crowds.

A section where the slickrock of Sneeds Creek is particularly interesting. The trail leads along this and I thought it was really cool.
