This report is from before I put more time into writing and taking route photos, so it may not be very helpful. I'm keeping it up for the memories, and will one day hopefully return to better document. Find other reports in this region.

Jul 3, 2014 — The Headland Trail is a nice little loop that goes past a watering hole that was historically used by Native Americans and white settlers back in the day, all of whom wrote on a section of rock called Inscription Rock. The trail then leads up to the top of El Morro National Monument and past some cool old ruins with a nice view of the New Mexico badlands all around.
