Cucamonga Peak via Ice House and Chapman Trail GPX Track

I need to offset my substantial website costs somehow! You can download a hike/drive GPX to assist you here. Before sharing my GPX tracks with others, please remember my site is otherwise a free resource.

This popular hike to Cucamonga Peak follows the Ice House Canyon Trail as it follows some residences resting along the creek. The trail enters the wilderness and ascends more steeply to Ice House Saddle. From Ice House Saddle, the Cucamonge Peak Trail then wraps around the east side of Bighorn Peak before reaching the saddle north of Cucamonga Peak. From here, notorious switchbacks lead to the summit of Cucamonga Peak.

On my way back, I chose to follow the Chapman Trail, passing Cedar Glen Campground along the way. It was a pretty and lesser-traveled alternative to just coming back down the Ice House Canyon Trail.
