Cold Mountain via Art Loeb Trail GPX Track

I need to offset my substantial website costs somehow! You can download a hike/drive GPX to assist you here. Before sharing my GPX tracks with others, please remember my site is otherwise a free resource.

Cold Mountain is a famous peak in North Carolina, but it gets few visitors due to the relatively long trail hike. The shortest hike follows the very pretty Art Loeb Trail as it slowly makes its way up toward Cold Mountain, wrapping around the forested slopes and slowly gaining elevation. Once it reaches the southern ridge of Cold Mountain, the Art Loeb Trail continues south, but the Cold Mountain Trail heads north. Obviously take this trail, which continues along the southern ridge up to a small, pretty ridgeline and ultimately leading to the summit. Definitely some pretty amazing views.
