The Caney Creek Falls Trail is a scenic and easy hiking trail located in the Bankhead National Forest in northwestern Alabama. The trailhead is on private property and can only be accessed by paying a fee, though this was not the case when I did this hike years ago (or I somehow got lucky and wasn't caught?). This popular, short hike is a nice forested walk through to a 20-foot waterfall as the main attraction. Exploring farther down the creek was a fun addition to the standard trail walk down to the falls.
