Cameltoe Canyon GPX Track

I need to offset my substantial website costs somehow! You can download a hike/drive GPX to assist you here. Before sharing my GPX tracks with others, please remember my site is otherwise a free resource.

This is a technical canyon. If you are unfamiliar with how to build anchors or the gear required for canyoneering do not attempt this route.

From the trailhead, walk through a small tunnel under the railroad tracks and head up the canyon for about a mile, bypassing a few dryfalls. After the largest one, you should be walking on slickrock. Head up the east side of the canyon, following the rim (you'll see the narrows below on your left), until you can drop into the canyon above the narrows. Head down the canyon, most obstacle avoided by staying on the right of the canyon, until you get to the single section of slot, where a pool (knee-deep when I did it) is followed directly by the only rappel, but it's a super pretty one! Once you're down, enjoy the big seep coming from the sandstone and the lush area surrounding the rappel. Continue down-canyon and eventually you get to the big dryfall you bypassed earlier.
