Buck Hollow and Buck Ridge Loop GPX Track

I need to offset my substantial website costs somehow! You can download a hike/drive GPX to assist you here. Before sharing my GPX tracks with others, please remember my site is otherwise a free resource.

Buck Hollow and Buck Ridge Loop is a nice loop in Shenandoah National Park. There are two trailheads you can use to access the loop, one from the scenic drive (west) and another from the east. I started from the scenic drive and went down Buck Hollow first, doing the loop clockwise. The well-constructed trail follows and crosses a pretty stream within Buck Hollow, only veering away from the streem for a short time. Eventually I got to a junction with the Buck Ridge Trail. This trail leads steeply up to gain Buck Ridge, but then the grade mellows out as the trail continues. There are occasional views obscured by trees. The loop leads right back to the trailhead.
