Bear Mountain and Doe Mountain GPX Track

I need to offset my substantial website costs somehow! You can download a hike/drive GPX to assist you here. Before sharing my GPX tracks with others, please remember my site is otherwise a free resource.

A nice hike up a popular Sedona trail with some steeper sections and pretty slickrock, leading to Bear Mountain's false summit. Continue a short bit past the summit on an obvious trail to get to a much nicer overlook than the summit itself. The Bear Mountain Trail doesn't take you to the official Bear Mountain summit, but I wasn't interested in bushwhacking for over a mile to get there.

Doe Mountain is another short and popular hike starting from the same trailhead. A few pleasant switchbacks lead to the rim of Doe Mountain's mesa-like summit, where trail markers lead to an overlook on the opposite side of the mesa. To reach the true high point, just after getting over the rim, a social trail leads south.

Approaching the summit. However, note the end of the trail isn't the "true" summit of Bear Mountain. This is located a mile north, completely off-trail. I had no interest continuing to it, especially since the trail was enjoyable and I didn't want to ruin the good vibes with manzanita-whacking.
