Alum Cove Natural Bridge Recreation Area GPX Track

I need to offset my substantial website costs somehow! You can download a hike/drive GPX to assist you here. Before sharing my GPX tracks with others, please remember my site is otherwise a free resource.

The Alum Cove Natural Bridge Recreation Area is a scenic spot located in the Ozark National Forest in northwestern Arkansas. The area is known for its natural bridge, which is one of the largest freestanding natural bridges in the region, about 130 feet in length. The formation was created by water eroding the sandstone over millions of years, leaving behind a stunning arch that visitors can walk across or explore from below. A short and relaxing loop hike winds through the forest took me past some impressive rock formations and a few small caves tucked into the faces. Interpretive signs along the way are a nice touch to learn about the area. The bridge itself is spectacular.
