This report is from before I put more time into writing and taking route photos, so it may not be very helpful. I'm keeping it up for the memories, and will one day hopefully return to better document. Find other reports in this region.

Sep 25, 2014 — This is a much steeper and slightly shorter alternative coming from the east, compared to the more standard Sunset Ridge Trail if approaching Mount Mansfield from the west. The Hell Brook Trail uses lots of roots and rocks to ascend this interesting trail.
