Jun 4, 2019 — There are multiple trails you could take to reach Anthony's Nose, a nice viewpoint overlooking the Bear Mountain Bridge over the Hudson River. This trail is a short, very popular hike, but you could find other options if you'd rather make the hike longer, but this is the most direct option. The first half of the trail follows the Appalachian Trail on a fairly steep and rocky section, then once it reaches the wide ridge of Anthony's Nose, heads southwest on an old dirt road converted into a trail. Anthony's Nose has a high point just south of the overlook, which can be reached via a social trail leading away from the main road/trail.
