Mar 10, 2018 — A short trail takes you down into Tanque Verde Canyon, where the trail mostly disappears and you have to continue east up the canyon on Class 2 boulder-hopping and potentially slick slab scrambling. You first pass a lower falls, where the Class 2 stuff begins, and the route continues to be fun as you manuever through lots of pretty boulders until you get to the base of Tanque Verde Falls. The 80-foot falls are a great desert treat, and although a popular spot, it's worth a visit.
